This Sinharaja forest is spread in both the Sabaragamuwa province and the southern province of Sri Lanka. This Sinharaja forest is the 4th largest forest in Sri Lanka. This forest is the national park in Sri Lanka and spreads over an area of 11250 hectares. This forest is a UNESCO world heritage site and biosphere reserve. This Sinharaja forest has endemic animals as well as endemic plants. This Sinharaja rain forest has a very beautiful environment.

This sinharaja forest is located in the middle of the three district of Sri Lanka namely galle district, Rathnapura district and mathara district.
